My name is Avery Brown, and I’m the founder of Skipjack Contracting. I grew up in Rhode Island and spent over a decade in the corporate and technology world, leading complex logistics, program management, and business analytics initiatives. Most notably, I helped launch Amazon home delivery with Whole Foods locations across Massachusetts—an experience that demanded precision, accountability, and flawless execution.

That same mindset is what I bring to every project today.

My path to construction started with renovating my first investment property. What began as a single remodel quickly turned into a passion for building, problem‑solving, and transforming spaces. I realized I could combine my corporate‑honed organization, communication, and financial discipline with hands‑on craftsmanship—and Skipjack Contracting was born.

We specialize in high‑quality retail and residential projects, from custom display shelving and storage solutions for retail spaces to full home renovations, including kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas.
